A couple of days ago, I learned that the very first vitamin was discovered sometime in the early 1900s by a Dr. Funk. He was the guy who first used the term “vitamine”.
Too bad Dr. Funk did not follow the path of numerous other scientists and name the substance he found after himself. […]
